Craig Sutherland, President (2017-2019) – COO and Principal, Meeker Sharkey & Hurley Insurance in Far Hills and Cranford, New Jersey. Formerly president of the James F. Hurley Insurance Agency and previously executive vice president of global insurance broker Willis of New York, Inc.  Experienced in developing, placing and managing risk financing, insurance and employee benefit programs for businesses of all sizes across numerous industry segments, as well as personal insurance and risk management programs for affluent and high net worth individuals.  Holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He is a trustee of Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church and a resident of the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township, Somerset County. Chair – Personnel Committee.

Leslie Molé, First Vice President (2015-2017) – Former president of The Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House Board of Trustees.  Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Denison University; former director, Corporate Events, Corporate Communications, NBC Television Network, New York; active community volunteer who has worked with numerous nonprofits, including Museum of the City of New York, Boy’s Club New York, New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Pingry School. Resident of Bedminster, Somerset County. Project leader for Pluckemin Virtual Cantonment video and Prich Matthews History Center initiative.  Chair – Education and Outreach Committee (has led education outreach program since 2014 through the Anne L. and George H. Clapp Charitable and Educational Trust); Chair – Nominating and Development Committees.  Member – Personnel Committee.

Jennifer T. Becker, Second Vice President (2016-2018) – Business development officer with Glenmede Trust Company. Extensive experience in marketing and client services at wealth management firms serving foundations, institutions, endowments, individuals and families. A graduate of Hamilton College, Mrs. Becker is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey, the Long-Range Planning Committee for the Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center, and the Development Committee for The Discovery Orchestra. Resident of Basking Ridge, Somerset County. Co-chair – Membership Committee; Member – Development Committee; Member – Nominating Committee.

Lori Rothe Yokobosky, Treasurer (2017-2019) – A certified public accountant and senior tax manager, specializing in not-for-profit organizations, with CohnReznick in Roseland, New Jersey. Previously, an audit manager with JH Cohn, LLP and manager of the entertainment division of Mintz Rosenfeld & Company, LLC.  Highly experienced in the management and review of not-for-profit tax returns and tax compliance.  Ms. Yokobosky has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from William Paterson College and a master’s degree in taxation from Villanova University. She serves on the Finance Committee of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and is the former chairwoman for the Women in Business Committee of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Resident of Fredon, Sussex County. Chair – Finance and Budget Committee; Member – Nominating Committee.

Robin Ray, Assistant Treasurer (2015-2017) – Immediate past president of The Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House. Municipal recreation director for Bedminster Township; former marketing, product and event manager with AT&T and Bohler Engineering; graduate of University of Rhode Island. Active community volunteer who has worked with numerous non-profit organizations, including Philadelphia University, Bernards High School, New Jersey Special Olympics, the Upper Raritan Watershed Association, and Alpha Xi Delta Foundation. Resident of Bedminster, Somerset County. Member – Personnel, Education and Outreach, Personnel, and Finance & Budget (ex-officio) Committees.

Janice Marano, Secretary (2016-2018) – Community service and education volunteer, with experience in special events, fund raising, children’s programs and youth mentoring. Holds bachelor’s degree in nursing from George Washington University and master’s degree in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Board member and volunteer with First Tee of Raritan Valley, Carrier Clinic and other nonprofit groups. Resident of Califon, Hunterdon County.  Co-Chair – Hospitality and Membership Committees.


Darrick J. Anderson (2016-2018) – Owner of Camelot Custom Building in Basking Ridge for the past 25 years and former member of the United States Marine Corps. An active volunteer on behalf of the Boy Scouts of America and the Wounded Warrior Project®. Resident of Basking Ridge, Somerset County.  Member – Facility Committee.

Sean Blinn (2015-2017) – Former president of The Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House Board of Trustees (2013-14). Graduate of M.A. Program in Museum Studies at The Johns Hopkins University. Specialties include museum technology, community engagement, and museum evaluation. Has worked on museum community engagement and cultural heritage projects in Ukraine and Washington, DC. Former senior manager at AT&T.  Holds M.A. degree in political science from Binghamton University and B.A. in political science from Haverford College.  Extensive community service background, including serving as chair of Bedminster Environmental Commission, vice chair and member of the township’s Planning Board, trustee and Chairman of the Programming Committee of Heritage Trail Association, member of the Bedminster Historic Preservation Commission, and Bedminster liaison to the Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Commission.  Resident of Bedminster Township, Somerset County.  Chair – Museum and Acquisitions Committee; Member – Communications and Long-range Planning Committees.

Yolanda Cillo (2017-2019) – Medical Director, Diagnostics Division, Abbott Laboratories. An orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Cillo received undergraduate degrees in English and Biology from Case Western Reserve University, a medical degree from New Jersey Medical School (where she completed her residency in orthopedics) and an M.B.A. from the University of Redlands.  Passionate about American history and serving her community, Dr. Cillo is President of the Friends of Fleming Castle which operates programs at the Samuel Fleming Museum and Gardens in Flemington Borough and has served on the boards of the YMCA and a non-profit tissue bank.  Resident of Raritan Township, Hunterdon County.  Member – Education and Outreach Committee.

Geoffrey M. Connor (2016-2018) Retired partner at Reed Smith., L.L.P., a former North Hunterdon Municipal Court Judge, Chair of the Banking Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Banking. An active education and community service volunteer, Mr. Connor is a member of the Tewksbury Township Environmental Commission and a trustee of Bloomfield College.  A graduate of Williams College and Harvard Law School, Mr. Connor is a former U.S. Navy lieutenant (j.g.) and former trustee of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, the Washington Association of New Jersey, Tewksbury Land Trust, Garden State Cancer Center Foundation, Proprietary House, Newark Museum, Raritan Valley Community College Foundation, and Newark Boys Chorus School. Resident of Pottersville, Hunterdon County.  Member – Development and Nominating Committees.

Herbert M. Patullo (2016-2018)A historian and avid collector, is owner and operator of the Eagle’s Nest Museum at Middlebrook Heights in Martinsville, part of George Washington’s Middlebrook Encampment. He has been a member of the Washington Campground Association for over 50 years and served as its president from 1990-1994. Over the years, Mr. Patullo, who owned and operated Patullo’s Restaurant in Bound Brook for 43 years, has donated American flags to numerous organizations, including the 13-star, 13-stripe flag recently raised at the Jacobus Vanderveer House. Resident of Martinsville, Somerset County.

Raymond N. Sanderson (2016-2018) – An avid historian, who has served on historic preservation commissions for 16 years. He is chairman of the Branchburg Historical Commission, a representative for Branchburg Township on the Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee, and a past member of the Washington Campground Association. A Revolutionary War reenactor who has made numerous presentations to visitors and school groups at the Jacobus Vanderveer House and other historic sites, Mr. Sanderson is a member of John Lamb’s Artillery Company and the Brigade of the American Revolution. Resident of North Branch, Somerset County.  Member – Development and Education and Outreach Committees.

Doug Stevinson (2017-2018) Bedminster Township Committee member since 2016 and the Township’s liaison to The Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House Board of Trustees.  An attorney in private practice for 19 years, he has made numerous contributions to the Bedminster community over the past decade, including positions on the Bedminster Land Use Board and Recreation Committee, Somerset County Open Space Advisory Committee, Bedminster-Far Hills Little League where he was former president, and the Jacobus Vanderveer House Board of Trustees. Resident of Bedminster Township, Somerset County.  Member – Long-range Planning Committee.

John L. Sweeney (2016-2018) –  Private practice attorney in Morristown, who has held a number of civic and volunteer service positions. Served as a councilman for the Borough of Peapack & Gladstone and as vice chairman of the Natirar County Park Master Plan Advisory Committee. Chaired the Peapack & Gladstone Open Space Committee since 2013 and has served as financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus Council 11386 for more than 15 years. Received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and earned his law degree at Seton Hall University School of Law. Past president and current trustee of the Yale Club of Central New Jersey. Resident of Gladstone, Somerset County.  Member – Finance & Budget and Facilities Committees.

Karen H. Sweeney (2017-2019)A fourth and fifth grade teacher in the Manville School District with a 22-year career as an elementary and special education teacher. A graduate of Boston College with a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education, Mrs. Sweeney is a former member of the Somerset County Library Advisory Board.  She is also an active member of St. Brigid’s Church in Peapack, where she sings on the choir and formerly taught CCD classes.  Resident of Gladstone, Somerset County.  Member – Education and Outreach Committee.

Carol Tiffany (2016-2018) A freelance writer from the Pottersville section of Tewksbury, has spent much of her career in the publishing field.  A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, she taught creative writing in the GED program at Columbia University and was chair of Music Theatre Group in New York.  Now retired, Mrs. Tiffany continues to write creatively and devote time to her small farm and community service interests.  In addition to serving as a trustee with the Jacobus Vanderveer House, she is on the board of the Raritan Headwaters Association in Bedminster.  Member – Membership Committee.

Gail Whiting (2017-2019) Owner of Design Consultants, an interior design business she started in 1982.  A professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and a past president, NCIDQ certified and licensed in the State of New Jersey.  She possesses a liberal arts education along with a degree from the New York School of Interior Design.  Ms. Whiting’s residential and commercial projects have earned her numerous accolades, including New Jersey Monthly’s Designer of the Year Award, ASID Awards for Interior Design, Somerset County Chamber of Commerce “Outstanding Person Award in Small Business,” and NJ Biz Magazine’s “Good Neighbor Award.”  Her work has been featured in numerous publications and designer showhouses, including the 2017 Mansion in May designer showhouse benefitting Morristown Medical Center.  She is active in the Discovery Orchestra and Somerset County Chamber of Commerce.  Resident of Mendham, Morris County.
